Azurat Home Party

This year's home-party is to benefit The Charlottesville Jazz Society (www.cvillejazz.org ), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, preservation and perpetuation of all jazz. Located in Charlottesville, they strive to be a vital link between the jazz fan, and local jazz community, as well as the national jazz scene. They host educational events to excite and entice the next generation of jazz lovers and enthrall those who have been beboping their way around the jazz scene for some time.
RW has recorded several jazz artists in recent years... Hod O’brien, Jim Wray, Royce Campbell ... and Sherri is currently working with Stephanie Nakasian (new CD release this June!) and the rest of the “Family O’brien” (Hod & Veronica). It feels right to bring a little jazz flair to Azurat this year.......however.....
.....you don’t have to be a jazz artist to help jazz artists! Artists supporting artists… that what Azurat all about!
